Jr.Ntr and Samantha, Sruthi Haasan New Telugu Film Ramayya Vastavayya Movie Review:

After scoring a Blockbuster success with Power Star Pawan Kalyan's Gabbar Singh, director Harish Shankar has teamed up with young tiger Junior NTR for his next directorial venture Ramayya Vasthavayya (RV), which has been produced with a whopping budget by Dil Raju . Having soared up viewers' curiosity to sky high, the director has made sure that the film would reach their expectations.

Story:
Nandu aka Ramu (NTR), a college student in Hyderabad, falls for the beauty Akarsha (Samantha). Her father is a big businessman and a minister (Mukeshi Rishi) in the State Government. In the beginning Akshara refuses his love proposal but relents in after seeing what he did for her grandmother. But it is later revealed that he plans all this to just enter in Samantha’s house on the occasion of her sister’s wedding ceremony.  Post interval the movie swifts to a flashback in which we are told his association with Ammulu (Sruthi Haasan) and the real motive behind him coming to Samantha’s house.

Artists Performance:

As for his role is concerned, Junior NTR does not have any great or unique one, but the director has tried to tap out his other side, which has not been shown in any of his previous films. He has given brilliant performance and his comedy time is sure to rock you. He will impress you with his unique dialogue diction, action, dance and romance. He looks handsome with his toned physic, colourful and trendy costumes. Samantha has played Mukhesh Rishi's daughter in Ramayya Vasthavayya. She has large scope for performance and she has done an excellent performance. Besides her acting, she will rock you with her glamour and dance moves. After the movie Brindavanam, her chemistry with NTR is a great treat.

When compared to Samantha, Shruti Hassan has a small role, but it very crucial for Ramayya Vasthavayya. The actress has done best to do justice to her character. Her chemistry with NTR is also good to watch on screen. She will impress you with her glamour. Mukesh Rishi, Tanikella Bharani, Pragathi, Vidyullekha Raman, P Ravi Shankar, Rao Ramesh, Paruchuri Prasad, Hamsa Nandini, Kota Srinivasa Rao and Rohini Hattangadi have also done justice to their respective roles in Ramayya Vasthavayya.

Technical and Other Departments:

Ramayya Vasthavayya has rich production values and Chota K Naidu's cinematography is the one of the main attraction in the technical front. He has captured some of the best scenes for song sequences in the exotic locales of Pollachi, Spain and Europe. S Thaman's soundtracks and background score are the main attractions in the technical front. All his tunes are good to listen and the song 'Jabilli nuvve cheppamma' is our pick. His background score heightens the effect of several emotional scenes.

Ramayya Vasthavayya is high on action and all fights have been choreographed very well. NTR, Samantha and Shruti's dance moves have been choreographed very well and will impress the film goers. Another main highlight in Ramayya Vasthavayya is Harish's dialogue. He has penned some of the best punch dialogues and funny onlines, which will rock the viewers. The beautiful locales, costumes, art direction and make up are other big strengths of the movie.

Movie Analysis:

Ramayya Vasthavayya is a romantic action movie with all commercial ingredients to impress all classes of audiences. Junior NTR's performance is the main highlight in the film. Harish's screenplay and punch dialogues, S Thaman's music and background score, Chota K Naidu's beautiful picturisation, a few humourous scenes and one-liners, brilliantly choreographed action and dance sequences, exotic locales, art direction, makeup and costumes are its other attraction. The movie has simple story, but Harish Shankar's treatment of the subject makes it an interesting watch. The director has nicely blended all commercial ingredients in the film, which is very high on entertainment quotient. It has a simple and racy narration and some interesting twists and turns make the audience glued to the screens right from the beginning till the end.

Harish has a complete grip over the happenings on the screen. The film opens with a scene of attempt to assassinate Samantha 's father Mukesh Rishi and then heads to introduction of Junior NTR's role, which is sure to rock the viewers. The first half of the film is quite entertaining with lot of romantic, comedy, fight and dance sequences. What strikes you the most is NTR's comedy timing. The second half is also very interesting. The climax is a little predictable, but you will enjoy it.

Final View:

Ramayya Vasthavayya is purely a mass masala entertainer that will impress all classes of audiences. Junior NTR's acting, Harish direction, Samantha's glamour and Thaman's music stand out in the film. It is a brilliant treat from Dil Raju team.
